A haven for the abandoned and unwanted

Little Woman Home for Animals is located about an hour north of downtown Houston, just off I-45 N and a few minutes south of Huntsville, home of Sam Houston State University. A stone's throw away from the popular Huntsville State Park recreation area, it's located on an unspoiled 14-acre site that accommodates the LWHA residents, both human and animal.

If you would like to visit us, and particularly if you have an interest in volunteering, please ahead of time so that we may arrange for your visit. Days here are very busy caring for the animals and while we would love to show off our grounds and residents, due to the demanding schedule we regret that we are unable to accommodate visits that have not been arranged in advance.
